Hours after denying that any deal had materialised for England striker Peter Crouch, Tottenham has announced tonight on their website that the player has agreed personal terms and passed a medical at the club.
He could even join the other players in the Far East for their second pre-season tournament!
It seems that a compromise over the fee for the beanpolesque, robot dancing, acrobatic striker has been made.
The 28-year-old will link up with fellow England team mate Jermain Defoe at the front and surely means that Darren Bent's departure is imminent, with the ex-Charlton man seeming distracted and off the pace during his team's shock defeat to Celtic on Sunday.
